Centennial American Properties is redeveloping the city block that is currently home to The Greenville News into Camperdown, a truly transformative mixed-use, infill development. The project, with historic ties to the former Camperdown Mills along the Reedy River, will include office space, apartments, condominiums, hotel, retail space, public plaza, as well as a dine-in movie theater and fitness center.
Beau Welling Design has been involved in the project since its initial conceptual stages. Offering land planning, landscape design, streetscape concepts, as well as advisory services, BWD continues to assist in the creation of a cohesive development through the planning processes that will create a memorable place in Greenville’s growing downtown.
In addition, BWD is leading the design process for an iconic canopy structure which will serve as a gateway to the project and become another notable Greenville landmark alongside the nearby Liberty Bridge.
