Scott’s passion for design stems from a life-long exposure into the world of landscape architecture, golf, and construction. BWD has benefited greatly from Scott’s fresh perspective, motivation to learn, and strong work ethic and as a result, he has become an instant asset to the quality of work provided on all BWD projects. Scott’s interest and experience in traveling and working on design projects in places such as Puerto Rico, Italy, South Africa, China, New Orleans, and Philadelphia allows him to bring an informed and holistic approach to design.

Scott first joined BWD as an intern in the summer of 2010 while finishing his Masters of Landscape Architecture at Auburn University, during which time he learned specific and fundamental skills that are valuable to the array of work and projects that BWD explores. During his Masters work at Auburn University, Scott gained valuable experience through his work with the Town of Pike Road in Alabama to help the town council re-plat parcels, design open public space as well as extensive experience in storm water management, urban design, and digital media. After completion of his Masters degree, Scott rejoined BWD as a full time design associate in 2011. Scott aids BWD in conceptual development, project design, graphics, construction documentation, and draft proposals.
